Why did you join Nextdoor?
I left my law firm to join Nextdoor so I could be part of a mission-driven company that has an impact on the global community. I wanted to work for one “client” instead of many, which allows me to full immerse myself in my work and see it through from start to finish.
What’s been one of your favorite projects to work on?
As an attorney for the company, I get to work cross-functionally and on many different types of projects. One of my favorite projects to work on is strategic deals with the revenue and partnerships team. Together we’ve closed deals worth multi-millions of dollars for the company and with each deal we learn something new and sharpen our existing skills.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work? (Pre-COVID & During COVID)?
My outside of work activities pre-covid and during covid are pretty similar! I’ve got two little kids, and we just got a puppy. Spending time outside in parks or hiking is a great way for us to have fun and connect as a family. I’m also a huge fan of my Peloton bike (#pelo-tone-your-bod), my local lagree studio X-Core, and getting some me-time in on runs around my neighborhood.
