Why did you join Nextdoor?
At this point in my career, I feel very fortunate to be able to choose to work with companies that align with my personal values. I’ve had the privilege of supporting companies such as Virgin America Airlines, The Linux Foundation (free, open-source software) and Clearway Energy (solar and wind farms). I’m really happy to be here at Nextdoor. I really do feel like we are helping to make a significant difference in the world.
What’s been one of your favorite projects to work on?
One of the most important projects that I’m working on is the Workday implementation. We have a large team of people coming together to make this system run smoothly and I’ve learned a great deal from my Nextdoor colleagues as we’ve worked through the challenges of setting up. What do you enjoy doing outside of work? (Pre-COVID & During COVID)?
Anything in a speed machine; I have a Suzuki Hayabusa motorcycle and I regularly visit the Las Vegas Speedway to drive the supercars available there. Last time I was there, I drove the Aston Martin Vantage, Mercedes AMG GT-S and the Corvette C8. Next time, I’m going to try the MacLaren 720S.
