Why did you join Nextdoor?
Having worked in fin-tech and B2B companies, I was looking to join a company where I could have a direct impact on social good. Nextdoor fit that criteria perfectly, and I feel fortunate to be here and to help our communities be more kind and connected.
What’s been one of your favorite projects to work on?
I work on the feed backend team and my favorite project so far has been around increasing content distribution for our users. They can now see more engaging and relevant neighborhood posts from around them in their feed and I’m happy that this project had a positive impact.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work? (Pre-COVID & During COVID)?
Pre-COVID I spent a lot of time outdoors either hiking or climbing. During COVID, I still tried to get outside, but I definitely rewatched more TV shows than I would care to admit.
