Why did you join Nextdoor?
As an active user of the app, I appreciate how Nextdoor makes me feel more connected to my local community. In regards to my role, I’m really excited about how Nextdoor provides both small businesses and large enterprises more transparent and accessible advertising channels. I joined Nextdoor to contribute to these efforts.
What’s been one of your favorite projects to work on?
I’ve had the opportunity to help craft Nextdoor’s Insights Series, which is a series of reports that feature some of the major trends we’re seeing on our platform. It’s provided me a great avenue to learn about the interesting projects my colleagues have been working on. I’ve really enjoyed collaborating with the team to understand what’s happening on Nextdoor and how it’s relevant to both neighbors and businesses.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work? (Pre-COVID & During COVID)?
I started taking tennis lessons a couple of years ago and have really enjoyed playing and following the sport. I also really enjoy watching good movies and TV shows. After spending much of my youth following superhero series on The CW, I’ve recently tried to focus on more thoughtful content. Fortunately, COVID has not disrupted either of these pastimes and I was finally able to finish Breaking Bad and catch up on Better Call Saul.
