Why did you join Nextdoor?
I joined Nextdoor for a new challenge that was rooted in kindness. My previous company shared an elevator with their office and each time I peeked inside it seemed like a wonderful place to be.
What has been one of your favorite projects to work on?
Nextdoor is hugely popular with pet owners! I love working with clients who love animals just as much as I do. I am always amazed by their creativity in their ads as well as their products!
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
I am an aunt to two nephews and a 6-week-old niece. I enjoy watching their various sports each weekend. When not with family you can find me on a hot-yoga mat, in line for ice cream or boba tea, or watching sports.
Most memorable moment at Nextdoor?
Our virtual account management team holiday party was particularly memorable this year. I felt very lucky to be surrounded by such thoughtful, hard-working, teammates.
Best career advice?
My first job out of college was at a startup that ended up folding. I called my Dad, who immediately said “I love you and I’m so proud of you.” I have carried that faith with me ever since.
Where is your favorite place in the world?
A WaWa! A little unconventional but it is my favorite place to visit when on the East Coast visiting family! They have anything and everything you could ever want for lunch, breakfast, or dinner. Trust me, it’s a must-visit!
What is your favorite way to give back to your local community?
Tip well! It is a very simple way to make someone’s day a little easier.
