Why did you join Nextdoor?
To me, community is how we thrive. And there was no better place than Nextdoor to live that belief out. People at Nextdoor are incredible and are really invested in creating a world where everyone has a neighborhood they can rely on.
What has been one of your favorite projects to work on?
My favorite project is our annual planning process. Now, I know that may not sound all that exciting, but it’s the most prominent time of the year that I get to work with so many great minds across the business to define our roadmaps and forecasts — I really enjoy it!
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
I love playing soccer, finding the next best burrito, and painting! And any of those activities with family and friends is a bonus.
Most memorable moment at Nextdoor?
Being selected to co-lead our Women In the Neighborhood (WIN) Employee Resource Group. I am grateful to play a part in championing women and gender minorities in the workplace.
Best career advice?
Find your inner athlete. Depending on the day, that may mean investing in your own growth, being the best team player, leading with grit, or just grinding through a tough day — being able to adapt will take you to the next level!
Where is your favorite place in the world?
My grandma’s home in India.
